“I have really enjoyed meeting with and getting to know my mentor, over the past couple of months. I feel very grateful to have someone else “in my corner” as I navigate these new waters of education during these unprecedented times of the pandemic. She has provided me with wonderful, useful resources already and I can tell she has a wealth of knowledge to share.”

“I can’t express strongly enough how much I miss being a part of VMI. My three years with VMI were the best three years I have had in my 24 years of teaching. The collegiality and collaboration with passionate educators dedicated to doing what is right for students as they learn mathematics was unprecedented for me.”
Member of the 2014 VMI Cohort and Current VMI Mentor
- “I am hoping you can share this brief note of gratitude with all of the other incredible and talented individuals who helped me learn so much during my time with VMI. I am teaching 100% virtually this year, K-2 math… Without everything you have taught me, resources included, I would not be successful taking on this new challenge. It is because of VMI that I feel comfortable with math standards, enthusiastic about working flexibly with math, and knowledgeable enough to teach kids AND their parents. I appreciate you all so much.”
